This was taken from a small bridge that crosses the river that flows away from Vernal Falls, which I'm assuming is the Merced River. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It took a couple tries to minimize the sun glare that I was getting, and you can still see sun spots in the lower left corner. I've since invested in a lens hood, so hopefully that should help in the future.
